How do I get my device to report?

If you just received your devices and they are not reporting, you will likely need to complete a power cycle on the vehicle. Try following the steps below in order to get them to report:

  1. While the vehicle is off, plug the the device into the OBD-II port.
  2. Once the device is plugged in, turn the vehicle on and let it run for 10 seconds.
  3. Then, turn the vehicle off again and wait 10 seconds.
  4. Finally, turn the vehicle back on and let it run for 2-4 minutes. That should be long enough to give the device all the charge and time it needs to communicate with the platform.
